Scan-n-Cut 2 Crate Design - Rooster Card Holder

Made a cut file using my Scan-n-Cut 2 of a cute little crate that I saw recently in a Stampin Up catalog. I changed the design a bit as to not infringe on copyright laws.

 I love how the Scan n Cut 2 allows me to save it and adjust it to any size I want. This one I used to hold six 3 inch cards with matching envelopes.

I stamped the sides of the box,

 draped a paper doily, added a rooster I cut using my Cricut, a red checked bow and this sweet heart that says "made with love"

I made 6 little cards with matching envelopes

I think it's a perfect gift for a friend.

I made a card with matching envelope...

I used the draw feature to write" Happy Easter!", I can't believe in all my stamps I don't have an Easter one. Well, I really don't need one with the Scan n Cut 2.

I found this sweet trim at a yard sale

The envelope is 8" X 8"

Easter is on it's way.

Scan n Cut Teddy Bear Card

My local library had a class on making a teddy bear so I thought I would check it out just for the heck of it, I didn't need a stuffed bear but I thought it might be fun. I actually had to take it home and do it  since she was having everyone sew it by hand - NO THANKS, but they did supply the materials and pattern so I can't complain.

I did think of someone I can gift it to so I made a tag 

and matching card using my scan n cut 2

and of course a matching envelope

I love how easy it is to coordinate everything with my scan n cut, see the little bear -

 same as the card just smaller

Scan n Cut Canvas

Had fun playing today in Scan n Cut Canvas. If you don't know what that is, it's a program that comes with the Scan n Cut machine to make cutting and drawing files. Which then allows you to draw them or cut them out on the machine.

 Today I was playing with making campers. The fun old fashion ones that we all ( well at least I do ) dream of fixing up and going glamping in ( GLAMOROUS CAMPING).

Here's the first card I made...

I thought it turned out okay but then looking at it I thought I had the whole thing backwards -the fatter part should be at the front. So I made some adjustments.

and made another one. I added an awning, and turned

 it around, I also added a flower. 

I love the way the awning pops out and the card can stand on it's own.

So much you can do with Scan n Cut Canvas .

No Fussy Cutting with Scan N Cut

Thought I would make a couple of cards today. I found this stamp at a thrift store for only 50 cents - I love finding deals- it had a $12.00 original sticker on it.

 

I stamped images on white paper and was able to use my Scan-n-Cut 2 to cut out the cat images - no more fussy cutting. I also used it to cut out the stamped tag.

I used my stamp-in up roller stamps to make the cat prints and the cats on the envelope - I haven't used the rollers in awhile but the ink was still good

the stamp had three cats but I only used the 2 to go with the sentiment. I put the third one on the front of the envelope

I also used my Scan-n-Cut 2 to cut out a bunch of balloons and some "happy birthday" sentiments. I like to cut out a bunch for whenever I might need them.

I embossed yellow card stock and layered the balloons and words on top

a simple card and quick to make.

Christmas Window Card using my Scan N Cut 2

I have been looking at a lot of cards on Pinterest and have really liked the ones with the window pane. I'm sure they were cut with a die but I don't own a Big Shot or Cuttlebug or whatever the cutters are called, BUT I do have a Scan N Cut 2! Using scan n cut canvas I was able to design my own window just by using basic shapes, rectangles and triangles, elongating them and then welding them together. What is really nice is now that I have the shape saved I can make it any size and use it over and over again without having to spend a fortune on the die.

Here's a card I made using the window....

I actually cut a rectangle out of my card so that the picture is on the inside.
I used my Stampin Up Bird punch for the greenery and cut the Cat out with my Scan n Cut 2 by using Inkscape and my free fonts from Dafont - using kitty cat dingbats. And again, now that I have the cat image saved I can enlarge it to any size and use it over and over.

I color printed a background picture to put on the inside and
stamped "Joy to the World"...

I really like the way the window is cut out, which I also did on my scan n cut 2 simple with the scanning feature and placing the cut just where I need it
